Nathaniel started Bishop's as a way to express something different in Bellingham.
As the shop gained more traction, we added more businesses and people who also wanted to bring their take on something different to Bellingham.

Be different, bring yourself, and add something to Bishop's.

    FOUNDER - BARBER

    I started cutting hair in high school for my friends who were in the National Guard and JROTC. I continued to do haircuts at Anacortes High School in the bathroom by the choir room, in my garage at home, and occasionally at a friend's house, using random clippers and scissors. 

    I attended Bates Technical College Barber Program, taught by former Washington State Board President Jeff Olson. I worked at Lelands Barbershop in Spokane, WA for three of the seventy years it has been open.

    I've been in Bellingham since Fall 2020 and started Bishop's Lounge in the Summer of 2023.

    I’m Bishop’s Lounge Business Manager and resident lil guy! I have worked at Bishop’s Lounge for over a year, initially as the janitor and now as Nathaniel’s brain. I work on logistics, communication, and all the background stuff that keeps Bishop’s Lounge running smoothly.
